Morphology and characteristics of an erroneous area at high magnification very often tells lots about the reason for the macroscopic damages (e.g. hydrogen embrittlement, stress corrosion). Should complementary investigations become nescessary, we offer them as well in our labs.

Hidden burdens of the past often have the potential to explode the costs for a clean up and demolition very fast and unexpected. We check in advance if or if not your object is contaminated with asbestos. Images from our electron microscopes can easily and fast proof the existence of the characteristic asbestos fiber in the sample.
Our light division provides a wide spectrum of experience and equipment connected to illumination. With emission spectroscopy we can in detail investigate the spectral characteristics of your light source. Properties like efficiency or colour temperature can be determined. With our high temperature infra-red camera we are able to map the temperature profile of the filament in real time.
“Original or a copy ?”. Do you really own a original master piece or just a copy ? Old, historical colours differ strongly from colours used in our days by their chemical composition. The authenticity therefore can be verified very fast and reliable by spectroscopic methods. For our analyses only very small sample amounts are needed.
