According to our customers demands we offer the following methods:

Temperature profiling


Our high temperature infra-red camera, can map temperature profiles up to 4000K in real time.

Lamp efficiency measurements

An Ulbricht sphere is used to integrate all visible light emitted by the light source being tested. The detected signal is linked to the electrical power consumption and provides the lamps efficiency in lumen per watt.

Gas Chromatography

Gas chromatography is a very popular quantitative analytical method. The sample is injected and evaporated into a gas stream which afterwards passes through a long tube. The tube is specially coated and heated according to a temperature program. Due to different interaction of different compounds of the sample sample with the surface the travelling time through the tube is different for different components. A detector at the output of the tube registers the peak signals for each fragment over the time. Integration of the signals and comparison with standards gives the quantities. The method can be expanded by coupling it with mass spectroscopy. In this case the gas streams into a mass spectrometer after leaving the device. Each peak is analysed quantitative and as well analysed on its qualitative composition.

Peel off test

This method is used to verify the adhesion of coatings and films. An intender with well defined area is glued to the coating. A perpendicular force is applied and increased until the coating fails and peels of the substrate. The force is measured and the adhesion is calculated.

Salt Spray Cabinet

This method is a standard test often used by the automotive industries. The coatings of interest are placed into a temperature controlled cabinet where they get exposed to a controlled fog of salt solution. The occurrence of first red rust is taken as evidence for the failure of the coating. The method can e.g. simulate the long term environment influences on a zinc coated steel substrate in a short period of time.
