We develop the fitting coating for your application and fine tune all parameters, like thickness and composition to guarantee a maximum of corrosion protection to your product. Those coatings can be optimized to provide best corrosion protection while keeping important properties like weldability for further processing.

The application of the protective coating (e.g. Zinc, Zinc Alloys) and of the interlayer (other metal, alloy) is done in an IBAD or PVD process. After the synthesis the coatings are characterized by XPS/AES using depth profiling techniques. The corrosion resistance is measured in salt spray cabinets and by electrochemical analysis.
